About Us

TP Country Club Features the Kind of Course That You can Build a Country Club Community Around

Are you just learning to golf? Do you love golf? Or do you live for golf? Golfers come to TP Country Club with a wide range of “thirsts” for the game. We have the course for all of you! We offer every skill-level of golfer a wonderful course — where to learn or to let ‘er rip!

Our par-72, 18 holes offer as much or as little of the course as you feel comfortable with.

We’re known for offering golfers meticulously-maintained, fair bent grass greens. The many elevation changes will challenge even the championship golfer. Our practice facilities features a driving range with plenty (25) of hitting stations, along with a practice putting green and chipping green. Work on your long game, short game and all your finesse shots.

tpgolf1And you’re always welcome to warm up “the big dog” before your rounds at our driving range, with 25 hitting stations.

The golf course at TP Country Club is perched on the highest point in Cullman County, surrounded by towering pines. This beautiful setting makes TP Country Club one of Alabama’s best kept golfing secrets.

The Golf Club is conveniently located within 45 minutes from both Birmingham and Huntsville, just one mile off of Interstate 65.

“Measuring 6,500 yards from the back tees and having beautiful bent grass makes TP an enjoyable golf course for members and guests while still challenging the Championship golfer with the many elevation changes during the round.”

Unassuming golf course architect Tom Jackson has shaped for you a golf course here very much like the man himself: elegantly understated. Tom’s TP Country Club design takes full advantage of elevation changes while offering you great views from Cullman County’s highest point.

Our Golf Shop is worth a stop to outfit your game. The course and golf shop are open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday. The Golf Shop offers a full line of current merchandise and supplies. Club cleaning and club repair are also available. Lockers are available for a small annual fee.

Clinics and private lessons are given year-round. Please schedule private lessons by calling the TP Country Club Golf Professional/Director of Golf John Hunt at 256-739-0720.
